On Monday December 8th we had around 50 older people attend the forum at the centre. We had two speakers one was Julie from the Centre talking about how we actually won the rooms and also about Carers and how people need support.
We had a lovely man teach us all Tai Chi sitting on chairs. This was very successful and we are trying to arrange a permanent time that this is an activity at the centre.
Lastly, we have a gorgeous buffet with so much left over that a friend of the centre Michael Lansdell came and took the food to the Homeless shelter on Bishopbridge.
So all in all it was a very successful day, enjoyed by many and thanks to Age UK Norwich and the Older Peoples Forum for the day.
We received a letter from St Martins last week thanking us for all of the food that was left over from this event. Many thanks to them for taking the time to write to us.
