On Saturday 11th April eleven volunteers showed up at the Silver Road Community Centre and helped to raise the carpet and boarding underneath. Then the hard job started by pulling up staples that had held the boards down. Anglian floor Sanding experts did the job for us and it with the staples being such a job it pushed the opening of our new floor back for three days.

What a fantastic thing we have done the rooms are brighter and more wonderful than ever. Many thanks to the eleven volunteers on Saturday and the nine on Sunday and to Terry for keeping our strength up with bacon rolls and tea and coffee.
