Read More »about "The Battle for the Silver Rooms — Appendix 1"We have now been offered the Silver Rooms as a Community Centre on an annual lease. The purposes are defined in our business plan. We are now proceeding to develop our website, have achieved Charity status and are applying for grants to fund staff and to make the necessary structural changes to the building. We will shortly be setting up an Open Day as well as an Annual General Meeting to engage the community.

This was ostensibly to give the taxpayer some recompense at a time when services were being cut and millions of pounds were disappearing from investments in public services.
